A number of small solar modules attached to the surface of a stone pendulum (of a minimum length of 6 metres and about 100 kg in weight) function as little electronic beepers.
Once set in motion the pendulum swings for approximately 70 minutes, oscillating in an elliptical path with a diameter of around 2 to 3 meters. Eight spotlights are placed just outside this area. The cones of light produced divide the orbit of the stone into zones of lightness and darkness. Periodical sound patterns are produced as the solar modules on the stone bisect these zones, patterns that constantly and subtly change over a long time.
